Tuition

We offer our own yearly tuition schedule broken down into 9 monthly payments.  The 9th month is partial tuition based on when our recital falls.  This yearly fee is based on the total number of classes in the school year, not the number of classes each month.

Pricing starts at $53.00/month for one hour of instruction per week. Discounts will be given to students that take multiple classes and to families with more than one child enrolled. Tuition is due the first class of each month.

A $10 late fee will be added to your account if payment is not received by the 15th day of each month.  There is a $28 fee for all returned checks.  You are responsible for full monthly tuition regardless of your child’s actual attendance.

Cancellations

We follow the Churchville-Chili school district regarding closings due to bad weather. To inquire about classes being canceled, call the studio at (585) 889-7920 to hear a recorded message within 1 hour prior to your class start time.

Absence / Make Up

We do not have a refund policy for missed classes. Tuition must be paid the beginning of each month regardless of actual attendance .  However, make-up classes are available September-December.  After that, each class begins individual recital dances.

Recital/Performance Opportunity

An annual dance recital will be held at the end of the dance year for those wishing to participate.  There is a $60 recital fee per student.  This fee is allocated to renting a facility, paying staff members (lighting technicians, janitors, etc.), backdrops/props, programs, etc. In return, each family will receive 6 tickets per student enrolled. Recital costumes are ordered the last week of December.  Prior to this, a $50 costume deposit is required and is separate from the recital fee.  No costume will be ordered without this deposit.

Some classes also have the opportunity to perform throughout the year in events such as Holiday shows at area schools and nursing homes, Benefits, Dance Rochester! performances, and the annual Chil-E Fest in the town of Chili, NY.

Studio Newsletter

A newsletter will be handed out the first week of each month.  It contains important information about studio policies, recital, upcoming events, and important dates.  We encourage parents to read through it carefully and keep it posted for referral.

Class Observation

Parents are invited to observe a class in its entirety once during the year.  We will assign one week in November for observation.  Also, once recital costumes arrive, parents are invited to see the costumes on the students and watch recital dances.

Facility

Our studio contains three dance rooms containing raised wood dance floors designed specifically to prevent dance injuries. It is air-conditioned and has a dressing room, waiting room, bathroom, and office.

Guest Artists (Instructors)

Guest artists will visit our studio throughout the year as well as during summer dance camp.

Website Publication and Privacy Statement

We may decide to post photos of our students on our website. No names will be used unless permission has been given by a parent/guardian.  Please inform the dance studio owner(s) if you do not wish to have your child appear in published studio photos.
